Proprietor: Chef Ian Mills, BA,
is a Culinary Arts graduate of the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Passionate about his field, Chef Ian has enjoyed an illustrious career catering to persons from all walks of life, both during his time at the Atlantis Resort , Personal Chef for consecutive United States Ambassadors & Personal Chef Ocean Club Estate.
In 2010, Chef Ian got the entrepreneurial itch and gave life to Chefy’s Deli & Grill, which at that time, operated on Saturdays only from Easy Shine Car Wash on Marathon Rd.
As his entrepreneurial passion grew, so did his business, and a friend and loyal customer encouraged him to explore business opportunities in the Palmdale area.
After exploring options, Chef Ian decided to relocate the deli to a new location and after spending five years there, the demand for business increased and it was time to relocate again, to its current location.
Chef Ian admits that being an entrepreneur is scary. The doubt, risk, and unending questions on costs can become overwhelming. But he credits his good friend/Boss for the advice's given and pushing him to be the best,
faith, belief in self and surrounding himself with positive friends for keeping him grounded and focused on success.
Chef Ian believes that there is an opportunity in every challenge and encourages anyone with a dream of owing their own business to research, plan and follow through on execution.
10 years later Chefy’s Deli & Grill strives on and Chef Ian is grateful to his staff and loyal customers for helping to make it happen.
“We would not be here without your patronage and support and we look forward to providing you with great food and exceptional service for many more years to come,” says Chef Ian.
“I’d especially like to thank my mom for encouraging me to pursue my dreams of college and owning my own business. I love and appreciate you!”
